I specialize in the commercial aspects of intellectual property, focusing on licensing, strategic partnering, distribution counseling and international expansion for growth-driven technology-based businesses and creative enterprises.
I have gained valuable business and negotiation experience through my work as an investment banker. Prior to joining Works of the Mind, I founded Ascentage Law, a firm specializing in internet, software, and technology law, as well as data privacy and security, and technology licensing and distribution. Previously, I was Vice President of Legal and Business Development at Softdesk, Inc., a NASDAQ-listed company that developed and distributed CAD software for architects and engineers worldwide. I have also held roles as in-house counsel and director of international sales at an accounting software company and an operating system software company, respectively.
I bring extensive experience in both the business and legal aspects of technology companies, along with a strong passion for supporting them at every stage of growth.
